Turboscout.com is a very conveinent search tool. It allows the user to visit one site and seach over 90 different databases for desired subject including the major search engines such as google, yahoo, msn, and ask along with several metacrawlers. The site contains different search categories like imiges and news. You can also change the language of the site for people who speak different languages. All in all I give the site an A+ for ease of use and conveinience.

ENG-122 Planning field research

For my field research I am going to visit the Wings Over the Rockies Aviation and Space Museum. When visiting the museum I plan to find out about the evolution of the helicopter, technological advancements over the years, and where the helicopter is going in the future. I hope to complete this task by the end of this week and I think it will help me a great deal with my research.

ENG-122 Internet search tools

The only search engine I use on the Internet is Google. I have always used Google as long as I can remember. I like Google because I think it is clean and organized. There is not a lot of clutter on the page and I can almost always find really good information on my search topic on the first page of results. One thing I do not like about Google is after the first page of results it is hard to find relevant information about the topic. Other than that I think Google is a very good search engine. The other search engine I know about is Yahoo and and MSN. I don't like these search engines because I think they are more cluttered than Google and I don't seem to get as good results with either of them than I do with Google.
